Us
The Sierra Software was born out of one creative’s frustration with the state of the creative software industry. It seems that every few months another major player in the software industry switches over to a subscription model, luring their users into a cycle of renting sub-par products that are never truly complete.
The Sierra Software is a return to form. No subscriptions, no royalties, no hidden fees. We’re here to offer you tools that can bring your creative vision to life by way of finished products sold for a one-time fee. Our mission is to bring creatives one step closer to a world where their creative process is freed from corporate greed and predatory practices. When you purchase one of our products, you’re not just buying software—you’re investing in a commitment that we’ll never get in between you and your creativity.
The Sierra Software will be an ever-expanding journey that we hope can eventually impact the creative process of content creators, filmmakers, musicians, audio engineers, and more; but we know that this vision can’t be fulfilled overnight. For now, we’re planting the seeds of what we hope to be in the audio industry, and although we can’t share too much about what the future holds, we can guarantee you one thing: you’ll never be asked to pay a subscription fee.
The Future
The Sierra Software will remain committed to its mission: crafting one-time purchase tools that allow creators to create on their own terms. While currently focused on releasing royalty free music and sound effect packs, in the background we’re executing on plans for our first venture into standalone software and creative plugins. We’re excited about the future, but as a community driven company it doesn't exist without your input. In the coming months, we’re focusing on the development of audio plugins and standalone software products behind the scenes. We aim to give you more consistent and responsive alternatives to the plugins you already use, while simultaneously breaking new ground on tools that the creative software community has yet to experience.

Our company was founded to fulfill a need we saw in the creative community, and our venture into royalty-free music and audio sample packs is no different. We believe that perpetual subscriptions to music providers create unnecessary barriers for creators, both new and experienced. We aim to offer an affordable, one-time purchase, royalty-free alternative for you to use in your creative projects—no royalties, no recurring costs, no strings attached.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
The Sierra Software was founded by guitarist, audio engineer, and content creator Sierra, known as "The Sierra Show." A passionate musician and producer since age 7, Sierra's diverse background—from leading a progressive metal band to freelance video editing—gives him a unique understanding of creatives' needs.
Frustrated by subscription costs, hidden fees, and limited ownership of creative tools, Sierra launched The Sierra Software. His mission: to deliver exceptional products, personalized customer service, and a user-friendly experience crafted by creatives, for creatives.
